Hudson, NY, encompasses two square miles packed with diversity and creativity. There is something for everyone beginning with a lovely two hour ride along the magnificent Hudson River on AMTRAK or a leisurely drive up the Taconic Parkway. As with many industrial cities in the Northeast, Hudson fell on hard times in the mid 1900s and has enjoyed a remarkable resurgence in recent times. The variety of architectural styles is remarkable with a virtually intact mile long main street filled with interesting shops and great restaurants. For entertainment you will find a wide selection of music, dance, theater,
film, hiking, skiing, cycling and historic sites. There are also wonderful wedding venues or locations to have a family celebration.
