The original owner of this property told me a story of when John Wayne stopped by in the late '60's and told her she had "the best view on the Pacific Coast". In over 20 years of doing vacation rentals here I have only had guests tell me the views are much better than my listing photos. As you enter Dana Point from the freeway exit you'll pass Waterman's Plaza as you enter town where there are several statues of many of these legends.
