Witamy, Welcome, Barukh' haba, Bienvenue, Willkommen, We offer a quaint, private cottage in the village of Siekierki - a 10 minute drive from historic Tykocin and a 20 minute drive to the city of Białystok. The cottage is a modern, studio design with an open kitchen, living room and bedroom space with a private bathroom as well as access to a garage gym (it's not fancy but it works!). Tea and coffee making facilities are provided free of charge. The cottage looks out onto the gorgeous Podlaskie countryside. Ideal for two adults plus one or two children. Travel cot for infants available upon request.
Self-proclaimed world's greatest newlyweds, new home owners and businesspeople extraordinaire! We live in the house nextdoor so we'll always be around if you need us, and you may see us out and about, but otherwise we'll leave you in peace.
Siekierki is a typical, rural Polish village surrounded by gorgeous Podlaskie countryside with the Narew River a short walk away down the adjacent country lanes. There is a small, local Odido shop for amenities. On the road just opposite the cottage is a bus stop with regular buses running between Tykocin and Białystok. Tykocin, the nearby town, is around a 10 minute drive away and is full of history and gorgeous baroque architecture including the Holy Trinity Church and the Tykocin Synagogue (one of the best preserved in Poland). A short distance outside Tykocin, in the forest near Łopuchowo, is the Tykocin Pogrom Memorial which remains an important place of pilgrimage and remembrance to this day. Białystok, the nearest city, also has plenty of history to offer as well as shops, restaurants and nightlife.
