Dreaming of escaping to the Greek Islands? Naxos is a Greek style castle on the hill at the Bowentown end of Waihi Beach, this stunning architecturally designed house is a romantic beach hideaway, featuring two fully self-contained apartments both with stunning views from every window as well as the main house (where owners live and occasionally available for rent). This is the perfect place for a couples getaway or just some time to yourself. Watch the sun rise over the waves from the comfort of the bed with luxury linens. Each apartment features your own lounge, deck area, bathroom and kitchen area. You will have your own parking space and external entrance so the apartments are very private and quiet within this exclusive gated community. A short walk through the estate gardens will bring you to one of three nearby beaches. We provide a complimentary bag of quality coffee, tea, sugar, milk and muesli as well as cooking basics such as virgin olive oil, salt and pepper etc. We also provide beach towels in addition to bathroom towels and shampoo, conditioner, soaps etc are all complimentary. Complimentary bike storage with double plug for charging electric bikes is available.

The house is located at the Bowentown end of Waihi Beach in an exclusive gated community. The shops are a 5 min drive away with supermarket, cafes, restaurants, and great fashion, art and gift shops. With a short walk down through the beautiful garden you have the choice of 2 beaches, either beautiful Waihi beach which has won NZ beach of the year and is perfect for surfing, sunbathing or collecting shells or Anzac Bay, a quiet inner harbour beach perfect for small children or paddle boarding as there are no waves. Our favourite local activities: Aside from the obvious of walking, swimming, surfing or fishing at Waihi Beach there are many other local attractions. Waihi Beach Village itself has many great little shops and cafes or you might like to grab a massage or yoga class at one of the many local studios and day spas. You could soak in the hot pools in Athenree or walk through stunning native bush around the reservoir or up to the trig at the north end of the beach. A walk over to Orakawa Bay from the North end of the beach is another local favourite. You can hire bikes in Waihi Village at the Secret Garden or in Waihi town itself to take advantage of local trails.
