This was a quite spot mainly frequented by overseas visitors who are familiar with the Catlins and its wildlife, and now New Zealanders are aware of the Catlins and their numbers have been rising steadily. We offer some of New Zealand's biggest selection of wildlife. NZ fur seals, Hooker Sealions (now renamed NZ sealions) and the Yellow-eyed-Penguin. For the bird enthusiasts, Catlins has a large collection of bush and sea birds. Our beached are still deserted and there are many excellent walks. It is our aim to make your stay in the Catlins informative and an assurance you will see all the wildlife.
