Set in lush tropical grounds two spacious bedrooms on the upper level open on to the balcony with breath-taking panoramic views down to Palm Beach and the islands beyond. Self-contained, Open Plan Lounge/Dining, Full Kitchen & BBQ, Alfresco Dining on the lower Partially covered Deck with Stunning Ocean Views. Satin Jet Shower and quality bed & bath linen supplied. Two Sofa Beds in the Lounge. This villa is privately owned but located within the security and manicured grounds of the Waiheke Island Resort at 4 Bay Road in Palm Beach. Although within the grounds, being privately owned and not run as part of the resort managed facility you are not officially entitled to use the swimming pool, spa pool or mini golf, but AS LONG AS YOU CHECK WITH RECEPTION FIRST AND THERE ARE NO PRIVATE FUNCTIONS BEING HELD, YOU CAN BUY A "POOL PASS" FOR TEN DOLLARS PER PERSON PER DAY, ENTITLING YOU TO USE THE POOL DECK, WITH SWIMMING POOL AND SPA POOL, AND YOU CAN OF COURSE BUY FOOD AND BEVERAGE TO ENJOY FROM THE BAR AND RESTAURANT, OPEN FROM EARLY MOST DAYS :) THERE IS ALSO MINI GOLF, AGAIN AS LONG AS IT IS NOT BOOKED WITH A PRIVATE FUNCTION, YOU CAN ENQUIRE TO PLAY FOR TEN DOLLARS PER PERSON RESORT FACILITIES MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE IF THERE IS A PRIVATE FUNCTION BEING HELD, PLEASE CHECK AVAILABILITY IF THIS IS A PRE-REQUISITE FOR YOUR STAY. Just a 35 minute ferry ride from Auckland City, New Zealand's Waiheke Island is a magical place. The ferry-ride alone is a scenic delight, passing some of the Hauraki Gulf's most beautiful islands, Rangitoto (259mtr high inactive volcano), Motutapu, Great Barrier and Motuihe.
