Nestled within beautifully landscaped grounds, Shambaling Hotel is a charming refurbished house from the 70s. The Tibetan-style house has 64 cosy bedrooms, an in house restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. Wi-Fi is free in its public areas. The rooms are equipped with an electric kettle, a wardrobe and a minibar. The private bathroom comes with a hairdryer and handmade soap and shampoo. Shambaling Boutique Hotel is located 8 km away from Kathmandu Airport and a 20-minute drive from Kathmandu Valley. The iconic Boudha Stupa is only 1 km away, while the Pashupatinath Temple is 4 km from the hotel. Guests can enjoy local specialties from Lungta Restaurant and amazing cocktails from the bar. They also provide an international menu. The hotel provides laundry services and free parking on site. There is a tour desk which helps guests organise excursions to tourist attractions.
