The property we are hosting at is our family home which is at a 10-15 minute walk from Thamel in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood. We have 3 studio apartments and 5 rooms, all of which are spacious,airy, well furnished and bright. The rooms and apartments are on the second and third floor. There is a huge balcony on the third floor and a roof above it. Despite being right in the city, you will, without a doubt, be far from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu city. Swayambhunath, the Monkey temple is at a 25-30 minutes walking distance from our place. Safe neighborhood, sparkling clean rooms at a friendly and enthusiastic local's home. Isn't that every traveller's dream ? We have a garden, a small vegetable farm on site and if you're lucky you can also devour some organic guavas from our very own guava tree.

Hi ! Kibu Home is our family home. It is where my parents and my siblings live, along with our pet cats.

Our neighborhood is a quiet residential neighborhood. Its very quiet, peaceful and very safe. Food supplies and restaurants are easily accessible. There's a grocery store and a local dairy a few steps away from our home. There is also a mini mart about 200m from our place. There is a lovely temple 'Mhepi Mandir', a few minutes from our home. It makes for an ideal morning walk amongst the locals for a breath of fresh air! The ancient Kathmandu Durbar Square is 2.2km, Patan Durbar Square is 5.5km, Boudhanath is 5.2km and Pashupatinath Temple is 4.2km. There is also a mosque at a 7-10minute walk distance for our Muslim friends.
