Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Welcome to our family home where I live together with my cat Rosie. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing our space. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to cook and dine. You can use the common spaces and terrace to relax/work as you enjoy the serenity and views of the mountains around. You'll be sharing all the common spaces at home including the living room, kitchen, terrace, rooftop and bathrooms. There are multiple toilets/bathrooms for the guests' convenience. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to cook and dine. You're welcome to use all of the stuff available in the kitchen including a wide range of our family spices. Linens and towels will be provided to guess during their stay. You can use the common spaces to relax and/or work as you enjoy the serenity and views of the mountains around. On a clear day you will also be able to view a small part of the himalayas from most places at home. Rosie, our cat, will also have access to live and chill in all of these common places. Your room will be private to you and shall not be accessible to anyone else during your stay. I live in the same house so will do my best to be available at the guests request. If not at home, I shall be available to answer queries over the phone. A washing machine is available at home and can be used for a nominal extra charge - detergent will be provided. This is a quite residential neighborhood hence, guests are expected to respect the community around. Guests are welcome to enjoy a drink and chill on the terrace as long as quite hours are respected. Parties are strictly not allowed

A young adult pursuing multiple things in life. I'm a travel enthusiast who has been lucky enough to have moved around a decent bit. I have lived in over five different countries in four different continents including North America, Africa, Europe and Asia. During my travels. I've been lucky enough with various wonderful people who shared their life experiences and living spaces with me. Now I start this venture with the desire to pay back the favor and welcome travelers from across the board to my home to ensure they have an unforgettable experience during their time here.

A quite neighborhood in walking distance to the Australian Embassy and American Embassy (5 and 8 mins walking respectively). Small and large supermarkets within walking distance including a convenience store right in front of the door. Easy access to public transportation. If you prefer using ride sharing app, less than three dollar on a cab to the city center (Thamel / Basantapur) and under a dollar if you choose a ride sharing motorbike. As our home is located towards the northern part of the city, it is close to the Northern mountains around Kathmandu. The Shivapuri National Park - where the mountains start - is just a 20 minute drive from home. There is access to various hiking and trekking routes from this National park. Budanilkantha - the sleeping Vishnu is also close to home. As this is a family home and not a hotel. We expect you to act accordingly during your stay. If you choose to stay with us, our home will be your home for the duration. Hence, being respectful, keeping common areas clean and taking care of things will be a joint responsibility. You're welcome to bring outside food and drinks as long as you clean up afterwards. As this is a residential neighborhood, we will be mindful of our neighbors and respect quite hours in the night and early mornings. Parties of any kind are strictly forbidden.
