The area around the cabin offers fantastic hiking areas such as Numedalshovda, Skirvveggen, Lufsjåen, Killingskaret, Dagerøhytta and Mykletjønn. You can also visit Mydalen for farmhouse fare, or take a trip to Skirvedalen Fjellstue for pizza and baked goods. For those wishing to explore more of the area, Rjukan with its World Heritage Museum, Tungtvannsmuseet, Krossobanen and Gaustaoppen is only an hour's drive away. The cabin was built in 2002, and it suits us perfectly with several bedrooms so that the whole family and friends can gather. We have three girls aged 23, 20 and 14.
