Our goal is to make your stay as pleasant as possible and let you experience a nice holiday feeling in our village.
Egmond aan Zee is a cozy family resort on the North Sea, historically a rustic fishing village. You can learn more about the past at the Egmond Museum. The sandy beach with many beach pavilions offers everything for sun worshippers and water sports enthusiasts. Safety is provided by the presence of the KNRM coast guard and the first aid post of the Egmond Rescue Brigade. Outside the summer season, it is wonderful to walk and get a breath of fresh air along the shoreline. The town center is rich in charming shops, terraces, and restaurants. The supermarket and the artisanal bakery are also present here. The flagship of this village is the charming J.C.J. van Speijck lighthouse. The lighthouse can be visited for a climb of 137 steps, providing a spectacular view over the wide surroundings. The entrance to the dune area is 50 meters away. Here you can take a beautiful walk towards Egmond Binnen and then walk back to the village along the beach. Along the way, you may encounter wild horses or Scottish Highlanders on the path. The purchase of a PWN dune card is required.
