Spending the night at Casa Batavia is an experience in itself: a touch of nostalgia with the comfort of today! The B&B was completely renovated in 2017, resulting in a spacious stay where you can relax! You have access to a sleeping / lounge area, pantry with extra crockery and cutlery (you can not cook here) and spacious bathroom with hair dryer, shaving mirror, bathrobes, large and small towels, shower amenities and make-up pads. You imagine yourself among the greenery and can enjoy a large part of the year on our covered terrace !! We like to light the candles for you in winter and autumn!
Running a bed & breakfast is a long-held dream come true! As a hostess I have a lot of experience and I would like to offer guests a pleasant and carefree stay. I have been living in Lelystad with my family for 25 years. We have seen the city grow and flourish! I would like to tell you about sights, shopping centers and restaurants in and around the city. I would also like to show you where you can enjoy cycling and walking in the vicinity! Casa Batavia is a very short distance from various nature reserves, forest and the IJsselmeer / Markermeer! In the B&B you will find various tourist brochures and an extensive information book with useful tips for a pleasant stay!
Casa Batavia Bed & Breakfast is located in a pleasant, quiet and green area of Lelystad, a 10-minute walk from the IJsselmeer, the Harbour of Bataviahaven with restaurants (along Markermeer) and Batavia Stad Fashion Oulet! Walk directly behind the residential area into the Tuindersbos. The bus stop is less than a 5-minute walk from the B&B and you can reach the center of Lelystad and the railway station within 10 minutes. From here you can easily travel by train to Amsterdam, Schiphol Airport and Zwolle
