This resort is located within the Mayan city of Chichen Itza, which can be reached through the property's private entrance. It has an outdoor swimming pool, a spa and offers several activities such as nature tours and bird-watching tours. Yaxkin Spa offers holistic Mayan healing therapies, massages and beauty treatments, including a Mayan Hot Stone Spa Massage or a deluxe tropical facial. Hacienda Chichen Resort and Yaxkin Spa's elegant rooms feature a colonial-style design including colonial tiles, hand-woven bedspreads and pictures of the surrounding fauna and flora. Hacienda Chichen restaurant serves organic Mayan Fusion cuisine. There is also a bar and a library-lounge, and some rooms have a minibar for an extra charge. The Mayan villages of Piste and Xcalacoop are within 5-10 minutes' drive of the resort. The International Airport of Chichen Itza is 14 km away.
