Our guest house is located 500 meters from the harbour providing fresh, pristine affordable accommodation, allowing you to experience that dream Maldives holiday on a budget! Our guest house has 6 ground floor rooms all with complimentary WiFi & Satellite TV, accessed directly from the open air communal area and is only 66 meters, (1 minute), away from the beach, located opposite the guest house where you can relax on our complimentary beach loungers, hammocks and swing seats, taking in the views, enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner or simply let the smooth warm waves break over your feet as you take in one of the Indian Oceans most majestic panoramic views. Just a very short distance from the guest house is our local public desert island of Finolhu, with palms & beautiful white sandy beaches which can be reached on foot when the tide is low as well as by kayak or a short swim.

Our island, is one of the eight inhabited islands of Alif Alif Atoll, located 84.58 km, 90 minutes by speedboat, west of the country's capital, Malé. It is a small island being only 0.750 km long & 0.475 km wide. Main sources of economy of the island are Fishing and tourism. The island has fishing boats which mainly involve the yellow fin tuna fishing industry. All the fishing boats are registered and licenced under the fish processing and exporting company. These companies export the raw fish products to European countries. We have three beaches white sandy beaches where you can relax and soak up the sun or enjoy bathing, snorkelling & kayaking in our warm crystal clear waters. Football and Hand ball are the main sports on Mathiveri. There is a Football Ground on the south side of the island. There are huge Futsal competitions which includes teams from islands other than Mathiveri. We have an artificial grass Futsal pitch in the island. Handball is the current sport being played amongst the woman of Mathiveri.
