The rural village of Mgarr is famous for Neolithic temples, strawberries, honey, and the traditional rabbit dishes. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside with country lanes ideal for walks. Gnejna Bay, Golden Bay, Riviera Bay (Ghajn Tuffieha) and Fomm ir-Rih Bay are just a few minutes away by walk. During your stay in Mgarr, you can enjoy some Mediterranean sunshine, walk through beautiful trails and snorkel and swim in clear blue sea. 1 minute walk from Mgarr bus stop. Street parking available free of charge but might get busy on weekend evenings. The apartment is easily accessible via taxi. Taxi companies like Bolt or Uber offer reasonable rates and are quite convenient. You can reserve a taxi by simply downloading the app and they usually arrive within just a few minutes.
