Birzebbuga is a beautiful seaside town located in the south of Malta. The town is popular among Maltese holiday makers, and is known for its sandy beach "Pretty Bay". The village of Birzebbuga is notable for its important archaeological sites, especially Ghar Dalam. Birzebbuga is approximately 13km from the Capital city of Valletta, where one can enjoy walks through the old streets and experience the Cannon Fire at the Saluting Battery located in the Upper Barrakka Gardens. Ghar Dalam (Dark Cave), is a highly important site, as it was here that the earliest evidence of human presence on Malta was discovered. Artifacts date back to the Neolithic period some 7,400 years ago. Ghar Dalam is just 15 minutes by walk from the property.
