Ħamrun is a town located in central Malta, close to Valletta. With a population of around 10,000, it is a densely populated and lively area. Despite its small size, Ħamrun has a rich history and strong cultural identity. It is known for the Church of St. Cajetan, traditional band clubs, and its popular annual feast. The town is also home to Ħamrun Spartans FC, one of Malta’s most successful football clubs. Ħamrun blends historical architecture with modern shops and businesses, serving as an important residential and commercial hub on the island.
