Taourirt Kasbah was built in the 17th century by the tribe of Glaoui. It is famous thanks to his seniority. Indeed, it was one of the first great Berber architectures built! The Kasbah was long the residence of the Pasha of Marrakech, a high official of the Moroccan monarchy. Tourists can enjoy the exterior architecture of the monument with sandcastles tunes: the walls of a tanned red rising skyward, crenellated towers at different corners of the Kasbah. For a small fee you can visit and browse the medina ... visitors would be wrong to deny it! They will then discover the interior of this building, richly decorated: the dining room, the living spaces, rooms, etc. A high place of the Moroccan culture world heritage of UNESCO.
