Located in Knuckles mountains 12 km from Hunnasgiriya on the road to the village Meemure, Shanthi Uyana is situated 1000 m above sea level and have Dumbara valley below and 500 m high mountains behind which is part of world heritage. The view is amazing and from the roof top a 360 degress view is available. Free private parking is available on site. If you like activities some of the best trekking in Sri Lanka is in Knuckles mountains. Waterfalls baths is very popular at Seven falls. You will find tea/coffee making facility in the room. Complimentary driver's accommodation is available. Safari and trekking tours can be arranged at a surcharge. Shanthi Uyana is 60 km away from Kandy and 164 km away from Bandaranayake International Airport.Nearby attractions include knuckles preservation area about 500 metres and Seven Waterfalls (“Eli Hatha”) natural pools located 10 km away.
