Deb, originally from Australia, moved to Sri Lanka in January 2020. Deb and Joseph offer advice on travelling in Sri Lanka, can assist with bus and train timetables, and where to go and what to see in Negombo. We are happy to assist guests to exchange money, buy SIM cards, shopping and restaurant options. We love meeting people and ensuring their stay in Sri Lanka is warm and welcoming. Olideb Gedara offers a homestyle stay in a Sri Lankan home in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Your hosts welcome you to their home and will provide suggestions of restaurants, attractions, beach and shopping. Television in lounge area with cable channels. Shared lounge, patio and garden with sitting areas. Tea and coffee making facilities. Two bicycles available. Breakfast is served between 07:00 and 10:00. Free airport transfers are available depending on availability of vehicle - it is suggested you organize transfers at the time of booking. Guided tours of Negombo can be arranged at extra cost. Whilst we don't take credit card, we will accept USD, EURO, AUD or Sri Lankan Rupee and if cashless transactions are preferred payment can be made by direct debit. Please note we are flexible with check-out times, however a day rate will be charged if guests have not checked out by 1:00pm and there may be a charge for check in before 12:00. Appropriate hygiene and sanitizing is undertaken in guestrooms and in common areas. Hand sanitizer is available in all guestrooms and common areas.

The area is a residential area, with the street being very quiet as it is not a thoroughfare. Close to Kattuwa Railway Station - a 3 minute walk.
