Neela's Beach Inn is a beachside property with free WiFi in its common areas. It offers a restaurant and a sun terrace. Each room is equipped with a desk, seating area and clothes rack. A private bathroom comes with a shower and free toiletries. Some of the rooms feature air conditioning. Linen and towels are provided. Neela's Beach Inn is minutes away from the surf breaks. Neela’s Beach Inn began as a humble homestay in the 1970s, when Hikkaduwa was still a quiet fishing village. Over the years, it has grown into a beloved family-run guesthouse, known for its warm hospitality and authentic island charm. Today, Neela’s is featured in travel guides and recommended by international travel companies, welcoming guests from around the world to experience the beauty of southwest Sri Lanka.

Neela’s Beach Inn is ideally located in the heart of Hikkaduwa, a lively coastal town known for its golden beaches, coral reefs, and laid-back island charm. Guests love being just steps from the beach, perfect for swimming, surfing, or simply relaxing by the ocean. The neighbourhood offers a wide range of local attractions and experiences: Sunday Market: with fresh fruits, vegetables, and traditional sweet snacks. Fish Market: just 2 km away, for a taste of daily local life. Roadside shops: selling clothing, fabrics, handmade wooden crafts, gems, and jewelry. Turtle Hatchery: only a 10-minute drive. Temples: several nearby for cultural visits. Nearby cultural sites: Galle Fort UNESCO World Heritage Site (16 km) and Ambalangoda Mask Museum (18 km). Nature and adventure: river safaris, Rumassala and Jungle Beach (30-minute drive), and waterfalls within 1–2 hours. Local experiences: cooking lessons with a local family can be arranged on request. Convenience: scooter and bike rentals available close by. The property uses a waste water management system. The water which is used at the restaurant and the hotel is powered by a solar water system.

Handloom materials are used throughout the property to support local craftsmanship.
