My name is Nalin Karunagoda, and I have had the privilege of working as an engineer at Lanka Electricity Company (LECO) in Sri Lanka for several years. With a passion for engineering and a focus on the power industry, I have contributed significantly to LECO's growth and played a vital role in shaping the energy landscape of our country. I obtained my bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, equipping me with a solid foundation in power systems, energy generation, and distribution. After completing my education, I joined Lanka Electricity Company, an esteemed state-owned power utility company in Sri Lanka. Beginning as a Junior Engineer, I seized every opportunity to expand my knowledge and refine my technical skills. Through my dedication and outstanding performance, I quickly progressed within the company, assuming positions of increasing responsibility. My expertise lies in the realm of power systems engineering, focusing on energy generation, transmission, and distribution. I possess a deep understanding of various types of power plants, including thermal, hydroelectric, and renewable energy systems. Analyzing load demands, optimizing power distribution networks, and implementing energy efficiency measures are among my core competencies. I continuously stay updated with industry standards and regulations, allowing me to develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
