Designated National Cultural Heritage and Important Folklore Material No. 84, it stands as a symbol of the spirit and integrity of the scholars who lived by the principle of Noblesse Oblige. Bukchondaek is a place where the spirit and integrity of the scholars who lived by the principle of Noblesse Oblige are alive and well. We want to show you traditional culture, not as a mere visual treat on the streets, but as a living embodiment of the people who lived it. You can enjoy the warmth of Ondol, Korea's traditional heating system that uses oak wood to heat the rooms. The owner, a member of the National Trust of Korea, provides a friendly and detailed explanation of the traditional house.
