Marijani Tatu is a beautiful cottage with all the facilities you would need for a comfortable family, or romantic couple getaway. It is set in lush gardens with a beautiful pool which is just above the stunning Tiwi Beach. Marijani is a safe compound with other houses and cottages, but seldom busy and most guests find they have the place to themselves except during the high seasons. We share the place with a troop of cheeky vervet monkeys and night visitors include bush babys!

Guests love our cottage and we are happy to welcome you. You will be hosted by Cecilia who looks after the cottage and can provide an extra pair of hands - if you wish. Cecilia can also arrange to have local fishermen to visit and provide the latest catch of crab, queen prawns or a fresh red snapper. Newspaper and fruit/vegetable deliveries can also be arranged. There is a wider team on hand looking after all of the facilities and they will go out of their way to help.

Tiwi beach sits just North of the world famous Diani beach which is well known for its resorts, bars, restaurants and watersports centres and just 20 minutes away from the cottage at Marijani. At Tiwi the beach is your playground; go snorkeling or arrange a fishing trip in one of the local ingalau sailing boats. Next door is Twiga Lodge and Campsite which has a simple and tasty menu and very reasonably priced. If you would like to explore further afield you are within an hour of the Shimba Hills National Park and elephant reserve is well worth a visit; home to the rare sable antelope. Wasini Island to the south is a centre for Dolphin watching and good for snorkeling. Cecilia can arrange car hire or Taxi's for you.
