Ryokan Taishoro was founded in 1912. Please relax and enjoy yourself at the ryokan where you can feel nostalgic Japan. Guest rooms are arranged around a courtyard. The guest rooms are traditional Japanese tatami mats, and the bedding is futon.
We would like to offer hospitality to travelers from all over the world and help them enjoy their trip.
Oomiwa jinjya shrine, said to be the oldest shrine in Japan, is a 5-minute walk away. It is a shrine where nature worship still remains, and Mt. Miwa itself is worshiped as a god. The precincts are wide and many shrines are enshrined. There is also a hiking road, and you can walk all the way to Nara while enjoying nature.

Guests checking in later than 20:00, please inform the hotel in advance.

The hotel has a curfew at 22:00 and guests cannot enter or leave the hotel after this time. Reservations for guests who do not arrive by 22:00 and do not contact the property in advance will be treated as a no show.

To eat breakfast at the hotel, a reservation must be made 3 days in advance.

Guests who wish to use the refrigerator are kindly requested to ask the front desk. Items can be stored in the property's refrigerator and freezer.

The hot public bath is accessible from 17:30 until 22:00. Guests who wish to take a shower with hot water in the morning must inform the property the night before in order for the property to prepare hot water.
