Hi, I’m Masashi, the manager of this guesthouse. I’m originally from Osaka and used to work as an Italian chef. I fell in love with Ōmishima during a cycling trip, and that inspired me to move here and open this place. While I don’t serve full dinners, I do offer a special wild boar curry made with local ingredients if requested in advance. I’m always happy to share local tips and recommend good places to eat or explore. I value slow living, nature, and good conversations—and I hope your stay here will be a memorable part of your journey.

Miyaura Goten is a private guesthouse on Ōmishima Island, part of the scenic Shimanami Kaido cycling route. Just a 7-minute walk from the famous Ōyamazumi Shrine, it offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by mountains and the sea. The house is reserved for one group per night, ensuring a quiet and private stay.
