Hello!
We are a company located in Kumatori Town, near Kansai International Airport, the gateway to Osaka Prefecture.
We are creating a space mainly for Vacation stays, based on our founding thoughts of "being a place to interact with the world" and "creating exchange between people and culture.
Lisa, the representative of the company, started hosting because she thought, "I want people to experience comfortable living in an old Japanese house".
We will use your questions, opinions, and feedback to make our rooms even better.
We would love to hear your comments and opinions from your stay experience.
숙소 정보
"Asuka no yado" is a modern Japanese-style guest house located in the center of Asuka Village, Takaichi County, Nara Prefecture.
The location is very convenient for sightseeing in Asuka Village.
Nearby are popular cafes, the Ishibutai Kofun Tumulus (a special national historic site), Okadera Temple, and Tachibana Temple, and the bus stop is also nearby, making it a perfect base for sightseeing.
Asuka no yado is a small house with a small garden and veranda.
The building has been fully renovated.
The house is fully renovated with a mini-kitchen for cooking, a spacious bathroom with a bathtub, and a toilet.
The house is reserved exclusively for one couple per day, so you can relax without worrying about anyone else.
With your partner, with your family, or with a group. Of course, solo guests are also welcome.
Please lay out your futon and sleep at night.
In the living room of "Asuka no yado" is a fusuma (sliding door) painting of the Japanese painting "Shishin" (four gods).
The paintings are unique to "Asuka no yado" and were created using traditional ink and mineral pigments, the same as the murals found in the Takamatsuzuka and Kitora burial mounds.
Sit on the tatami mats, relax, and take your time.
Enjoy the world of Japanese paintings to your heart's content.

Reservations are *required* for dinner at restaurants!
If you wish to have dinner at a restaurant in Asuka Village, please be sure to inquire in advance whether the restaurant is open for dinner and make a reservation.
It may be difficult to respond to inquiries on the day of your visit, so we recommend that you make reservations as early as possible.
In Asuka Village, most stores close after 5:00 p.m. and bus service is extremely limited or nonexistent.
Restaurants in particular will close at the end of the lunch hour and at 5:00 p.m.
In the neighboring city of Kashihara, there are many restaurants that stay open until late at night, but public transportation in Asuka Village almost never operates after 6:00 p.m.
There is little lighting in the village, and it is very dangerous to ride a bicycle after sunset.
If you do not have your own car, please take a cab.
