The Berghouse is an outstanding country house, renovated and equipped in 2018. It was built in 1910 on an old Christian medieval property. It is quiet, safe and comfortable; perfect for a family or group of friends (maximum 4 adults and 4 children). The owners speak good English and live next door, and guests are welcome to ask for help or questions at any time. The house is in Bergamasco, a village situated in the beautiful wine-growing area of Monferrato, at the beginning of the Belbo Valley, along the road that leads to the Langhe area (Alba- Barolo). Bergamasco village is at the edge of the UNESCO heritage landscape (“Paesaggi Vitivinicoli di Langhe – Roero e Monferrato”). It is the perfect place from which to explore the Monferrato and Langhe regions, with all of the food, wine and stunning landscapes that they bring. The area is famous for its food, with truffles, agnolotti, taiaren and game dishes. Nearby there are many cantine that make and sell wine. The area is famous for Barbera, Barolo, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo, Brachetto, Moscato, Roero Arneis and Cortese wines. Torino, Milano, Genova, the mountains, the sea and lakes are very easy to reach from Bergamasco!
