In the territory of the former municipality there is the main airport of Calabria and one of the first in the Southfor passenger traffic , one of the main railway stations of the Southern Tyrrhenian railway , a motorway junction of the A2 , the 2nd Aviation Regiment of the "Sirio" Army and the headquarters of Unioncamere Calabria.
