Wonderful enchanted design chalet nestled in the woods inside Corte delle Dolomiti, the former ENI Tourist Village, located in Borca di Cadore a few miles from Cortina d 'Ampezzo.
*** Just 20min drive from 2026 Winter Olympics venues in Cortina, or by free shuttle bus***
Perfect solution for a peaceful stay at 1200 mt, on the slopes of Mount Antelao, the king of the Dolomites, both for winter snow lovers and summer mountain lovers.
Completely renovated in 2024 and opened to guests in 2025.
The former Eni Village, declared since July 2024 a national heritage of cultural interest by the Ministry of Culture, was born from the visionary idea of Enrico Mattei who was actually designed in 1952 by the architect Edoardo Gellner, who worked on a architectural solution that reinterpreted the alpine building typology in a modern way, defining the project in every detail, both on the technological and structural level.
The villa has been completely renovated in 2024 keeping true to the original design of the architect Gellner, including all the original furnishings of the time, incredibly current and modern in their essential forms.
The large living room with stube is dominated by the immense window in the enchanted woods, where it is very easy to see squirrels, deer and especially Foxie, our house fox that occasionally emerges from the woods for an unexpected visit.
There are three bedrooms: a double with a view of the woods, one with two single beds and a room with TV and fireplace whit a large and comfortable sofa that converts in two single beds.
The chalet is completed by the kitchen and two bathrooms, the main one with a shower.
