Hotel Vellir is a 3-star property situated on the outskirts of the capital city and only 36 km from the airport. Near to mountains, lakes and possible views of the Northern Lights, This hotel features a Sportbar with a bistro menu. Rooms here offer a satellite flat-screen TV and parquet floors and free WiFi. Each has a private bathroom with a hairdryer and a rainforest shower. Free entry to the Reebok Fitness Centre during gym opening hours (closed on major public holidays). Guests can go swimming at Ásvallalaug Thermal Pool Centre located 350 metres away. Buses stopping next to Vellir Hótel link with the centre of Reykjavík. Keflavik International Airport is 36 km away.

「早餐選項不多但是該有的都有，雖然沒有24小時櫃台但是半夜才到，也有鑰匙自取服務，指示清楚。夏天旺季的雷克雅維克機場旁住宿都太貴了，這間算是一間價格與位置都適當的商務旅館。」
