We, a family of 4, live on our farm Bjarnastaðir in Ölfus, South Iceland with our 3 dogs, 15 horses and 13 chicken and run here the guesthouse and horserental Cora´s House and Horses.

Cora´s House & Horses is a small, cosy family run guesthouse and horserental on the farm Bjarnastaðir in Ölfus which emphasizes a peaceful family friendly environment, relaxed atmosphere and personal services, where guests can get to know the horses, dogs and chicken. Our house is the last on a dead end road and we are approximately 200 m from the main road and for that our location is children friendly. Being on a farm, there is very little light pollution during the wintertime, which makes our place ideal for watching the northern lights (Aurora Borealis) when they are visible. Both for non riders and riders we offer riding trips from 1h up to day tours and riding lessons in small groups under the lead of Cora Claas, horse trainer and riding teacher from the University of Hólar. Cora´s House & Horses is located in the heart of south Iceland, which makes it an ideal location for day trips.
