AKH81 WELCOME TO OUR STUDIO APARTMENT Dear guest, welcome to our home! We're delighted that you've chosen to stay with us while you visit Akureyri. This part of Iceland is full of wonders and where you are now is a great location to start your adventure! Just look out of the window to enjoy one of the symbols of this town. It is a church designed by the famous architect Guðjón Samúelsson. A few steps away, take the chance to meet with the locals in the public baths while relaxing after a long day, or take a stroll to the local botanic gardens. You will soon notice that our apartment is surrounded by pubs and restaurants, little shops and museums. This house is where we come to enjoy the calmness of the northern fjord while exploring the great natural highlights that surround the town, and now we're glad to share it with you! You have full access to our washer, as well as fresh towels and kitchen appliances. We ask that you respect our quiet community and keep noise levels to a minimum at night. No extra guests or parties are allowed under any circumstances, and you will be charged for any damages to the property. Please do not smoke inside or on the balcony, as this is banned in the property. The apartment is equipped with all you need, and a smoke detector is there to protect you. In case smoke is detected the ceiling buzzer will alert you, so take the time to switch it off. Don't forget to lock the apartment when you leave. Enjoy your stay.

Our property is in the heart of downtown Akureyri with all you need within walking distance. If you are looking for a café, a restaurant, or an art museum, you will enjoy the proximity to the best options in town. From the large windows, you will enjoy the view of the Akureyrarkirkja with its remarkable architecture, and just around the corner, walk through a sloping little garden or to the impressive Akureyri Art Museum. We are in the Old Town with its picturesque rows of old wooden houses in every color aligned on the narrow strip of land between the water and the mountains. The local public swimming pool with its great variety of geothermal hot tubs will welcome you just a few steps away. Plan a visit to Hof Cultural Centre with a long list of events and shows before heading to one of the several restaurants and cafes to enjoy the local cuisine and Icelandic music.
