Stream Garden Mountain Resort has twin house villas. Totally we have 8 rooms with all modern amenities. Each villa has two rooms with a common sit out. Villas are surrounded by flower garden and fruit trees viewing the mountain. It is a 2.5 acre property situated at the foothills of Chembra Peak, the highest point in Wayanad. It is the best trekking spot in Wayanad. There is a trekking trail through Stream Garden to the view point, a short trek of 45 mns. Trekking to summit will take around 3.5 hrs. It is a seven stage trek with a perennial heart shaped lake called "Hridayasarassu" is present. We have an independent restaurant for serving our guests. It can accommodate around 50 guests. Kerala delicacies are normally prepared. But guests can inform their choices of food. One unique dish to try is Kappa ( tapioca). We have a conference room also for corporate gatherings. We are situated 3Km from main road and the journey through the plantation road is also a thrilling experience. Vehicle parking facilities are provided. Waterfalls, stream within a coffee plantation is the uniqueness of our resort. There is an ayurvedic spa and childrens play area also. Sight seeing arranged .
Myself KV Joseph is the proprietor of Stream Garden Mountain Resort, Wayanad. I am a planter and is involved with Wayanad for more than 10 years. Has developed the property in such a way that it provides a unique experience to our valuable guests with lots of flowering plants and fruit trees surrounding the cottages. It is additional to the mountain view and a stream flowing within the property. Also situated within a coffee plantation. This combination is unique to Stream Garden among all resorts in Wayanad. Most of our guests are IT and business professionals and families from Bangalore looking for a serene and silent location. We also had guests from UK , Holland and other European countries. Our guests normally will stay for 2 Nights where they devote one day for Wayanad sightseeing and another day is fully spent at property relaxing near waterfalls or having a dip in the crystal clear stream. Monsoon time is also a nice visiting time where our guests could enjoy the special Wayanad Rains. Our stream will also overflow providing good photo opportunities. Occassional visits of wild animals are common here and is the abode of wide variety of brids. My hearty welcome to you.
Wayanad hill station has a wide variety of tourist spots like waterfalls, wildlife sanctuaries, lake with boating facilities, nature and trekking spots, dams, plantations, historical and religious places etc. Stream Garden Wayanad is situated in Chundale- Meppadi Road ( Ootty Road) and is 13 Kms from district headquarters Kkalpetta town. With Stream Garden as base our guests can visit all major tourists spots in Wayanad. All are within 20-30 Km limit. Our property itself is situated at the foothills of Chembra Peak, the highest point and the best trekking spot in Wayanad. Our resort is situated at 280 Kms from Bangalore via Mysore (6 hrs) and 70 Kms from Calicut via Thamarassery ghats (2 Hrs).
