Jigmet Katpa is the manager of this property, she has herself curated the overall outlook of the place. Also she herself is a researcher who has studied Ladakh and its history in depth.
In the neighbourhood, there lies the famous Sankar monastery which is one of the major monasteries under Gelugs-pa sect. Sankar is one of the ancient settlements in Leh, today it is bustling with few guest houses and more residential houses.
