With a private entrance, our guest suite is on the first floor, overlooking a beautiful patio, lawn and garden for relaxing, dining and recreation. Fully furnished guest suite. Fully air conditioned/heated. Fully equipped kitchen with free essential food items in the fridge upon arrival. Bathroom with a shower/tub. Hot water 24/7. We live on the upper floor and are available to assist guests in any matter. Free easy parking on street at all times. Free WiFi. Free self use of washer and dryer. Free use of a 3.66m Intex pool available in summer and transforms into a sun deck during the other seasons. Easy access to Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and TLV Airport. 30 minutes to the closest beaches. Car rental and public transportation within 3 min walk. Grocery store, supermarket, pharmacy, bakery and specialty food shops within a walking distance. Ideal for families, perfect for singles/couples, great for guests who visit for work purposes.
Since we are now retired and free to do as we please, we are ready to explore more adventures. We love to travel and meet people from different places and different cultures, realizing time after time that although we seem different, we are basically all alike. We appreciate the idea of sharing and exchanging and believe it makes the world a better place. We have started working with Booking in July 2018 but already have a wonderful hosting experience with numerous guests through another platform, earning us a Superhost status in a very short time. We are located on a small, quiet street with private houses. Free parking is always available on our street. A grocery store is just around the corner and a supermarket/shopping centre is within 5 min. drive (15 min. walk). Rehovot Ofer Mall is within 5 min. drive (15 min. walk) and the large Bilu shopping center is within 10 min. drive. Some specialty shops, accessible by foot, are just around the block: "Dahari Bakery", famous for its variety of traditional Yemenite breads, fresh hot Pita and accompanying sauces, is a few steps away (48 Ephraim Zaks St.). "Falafel Haschuna" offers fresh falafel all day long (on the corner of Herzl and Saadia Gaon streets). Right next to it is David's fresh fruits and vegetables store and the famous "Gedasi" condiments store which also carries traditional Yemenite spice mixes, special snacks and fresh ground coffee on demand. "Vered Hatsela", a high quality butcher shop, is on 63 Herzl Street. All these shops attract customers from all over the city. The Weizmann Institute of Science, the Hebrew University Faculty of Agriculture and the Kaplan Medical Center are all close by.
