Exceptional property, recently refurbished home.Retains the beauty of a small country dwelling while incorporating all the luxuries of modern day living.This property has an open plan living room/kitchen with unobstructed countryside views, Herbies House is located 9.6km (13minutes) from the bustling town of Letterkenny. With stunning scenic views, this property is close in proximity to Gartan Lough and Gartan Training Centre. The perfect base for Events, Hiking and Sightseeing. Other Areas of Note are Marble Hill Beach is a long, golden and beautiful beach located 25km away and Doon well and Doon Rock located 5km fro herbies Cottage. Your Furry Friends are more than welcome to tag along with you on your stay. We can also provide travel cot and highchair for children upon request. We provide a ‘Welcome Gift’ with local produce from all over the beautiful County of Donegal to leave a sweet taste to remember us by. (Available upon request). We can also provide ‘Anniversary Gifts’ i.e. bottle of local wine and other local treats. (Available upon request).

It is an area of exceptional hidden beauty just waiting to be unearthed. Herbies Cottage is around 13 minutes from Letterkenny, which has everything that one might need, ranging from fantastic restaurants and pubs, An Griannan Theatre, Century Cinemas, Arena 7 and Aura Leisure Centre. There is children’s play park within walking distance of Gartan Lake, Gartan Outdoor Education Centre, you can also visit the birthplace of ST Cholmchille on your travels! Take a relaxing walk through Glenveagh National Park and visit Glenveagh Castle and gardens and absorb the natural beauty Donegal has to offer. If you are feeling energetic and are in the mood for some breathtaking views you can visit Mount Errigal, the tallest mountain in Donegal.
