A 2 bedroom bright duplex that sleeps 4, fitted kitchen downstairs & seating for 4. Living area, shower room and bedrooms are upstairs. For sleeping there is a double bedroom, a single bedroom and a comfortable single sofa bed in the living room. Very close to the Barrow Way, great for walking, canoeing, rowing & fishing & golf. Local pub & mini market nearby. Ideal for visiting Kilkea Castle, Curragh racecourse National ploughing, Japanese Gardens, kildare National stud, Kilkenny, and touring the south east Driving Distances. Ballintubert House 13 minutes Kilkea castle/Golf 6 minutes Carlow and Athy 10 minutes M9 Motorway Junction 6 to 8 mins The apartment is very peaceful & well equipped, is bright and airy with a view if Mount Leinster . Guests are welcome to use the garden room the garden itself & the barbeque during their stay
IT Professional who travels quite a bit for work and leisure We will be available during your stay to answer any questions that you have regarding the apartment or the surrounding area. We want you to enjoy our stay with us.
The property is in a peaceful location with great views and is an 8-10 minute drive to both the towns of Carlow and Athy. Maganey which has a Mini Market and KCircle filling station is a 3 minute drive, and the village of Castledermot is a 7 minute drive. The local traditional pub Farrells of Killeen, is open 7 nights per week, with entertainment at weekends I have 2 adult bicycles that you are welcome to borrow for local exploration of the area. A car is recommended. There are frequent trains from Dublin to Carlow and Athy, from where a taxi can be taken
