‘The Cabin’ is set at the end of a country road, it has the most spectacular walk through the woods which bring you up to the top of a hill with a heavenly panoramic view of Fintra Beach, which is framed by the famous Slieve League mountains and the Wild Atlantic Ocean. Words cannot describe this unique view.

There are many great walks around lovely country lanes and the scenic walk to Portnacross is breathtaking. This walk takes about 3 kilometres from The Cabin. 5 minutes drive away is the very vibrant and beautifully situated Killybegs fishing port which boasts many good eateries, hotels and pubs. 5 minutes in the other direction brings you to beautiful Fintra beach, which has been awarded a blue flag. Further on and 5 minutes away is the secret waterfall, then a few minutes further is Muckross with its amazing sea cliffs and of course the famous Slieve League and Bunglass is a short drive from here. With the highest sea cliffs in Europe, and it’s spectacular panorama no visit to this area is complete without this awesome vista. A stop at the Rusty Mackerel for traditional Irish music and tasty local food is a must.
