A cosy stand alone cottage, 39 square metres beside hosts home, recently renovated to the highest standard. Cottage includes living room with wood stove, kitchen, bedroom and two bathrooms. Convenient parking on site, recently installed fibre WiFi, ideal for relaxation or remote working. Surrounding gardens include a native Irish woodland, orchard, vegetable and fruit garden. Situated a short distance from Omeath village and start of the Omeath Carlingford Greenway. 10 minutes drive to Carlingford and Newry.
If guests would like we can let them know about local attractions, walks, restaurants, trips etc.
1.8km from Omeath seaside village. Local hotel Granvue serves food and is a family fun hotel with great service. We are in the heart of the Cooley Mountains. Carlingford and Newry are nearby, it is one hour to Dublin and Belfast. There is a lovely Greenway from Omeath to Carlingford along the shore.
Users can walk, cycle or drive. Local taxi services are available and there are buses from Omeath to Carlingford and neighbouring villages daily. Buses are also available to Newry and Dundalk daily.
