Walk to historic points of interest including the Piraeus Archaeological Museum, the naval museum. Also at hand are shopping areas, eateries, pubs and a beach. Take a stroll across the street on the lively promenade, which is lined with cafes and tavernas. Easy access by foot or trolley to the main seaport for getting the ferryboats to the islands. The nearby tram goes up the Riviera Coast with all of its resort style beaches and shopping areas. The metro station is a 12 minute walk away and the ride to center Athens (Syntagma Square) takes about 18 minutes, and less than an hour to the airport.

The Greek-American host, Mia, is readily available to guests since she lives in the same building. She is always happy to offer information or assistance during your stay, if called upon. Just give her a heads up by message or phone call first. She has placed tourist brochures, maps and other helpful information in the apartment for your use. Being a people person, she loves hosting and meeting people from all over the world.

Trendy shops and large supermarket are nearby, as are museums, beach, athletic center, and beautiful old churches....everything being a few minutes walk away. Sailing lessons and yacht charter offices are available nearby if you feel adventurous. Everything you could want for your stay is easily accessible. Great place for vacationers, remote workers, and business travelers.
