This traditional home, built in 1908, is located at the village’s edge, within peaceful surroundings and with some privileged views on the village, the rocky promontory of the Lindos Citadel and the blue horizon beyond. Obeying the folk rules of architecture, it has been developed in a Greek Π form with practically all rooms arranged around a pebble mosaic yard, grown with a delightful variety of herbs and trees endemic of the Mediterranean. In its interior, the house preserves its original woodwork panels, frames and furniture exactly as they were at this residence’s inauguration (1908). The wooden beams of the ceilings joyfully contrast the pebbly floors in what has been acknowledged as an exquisite specimen of the craftsmen’s skills at the time. The house comprises a central high-ceiling space (living room), a smaller room endowed with a stone-made fireplace, a kitchen, a bathroom and then the yard boasting of its traditional pebbly mosaic floor, idling in the perfumed shade of lemon trees, bougainvilleas, basil and rosemary bushes. Its 55 square meters of surface make this house fit to accommodate anything from 2 to 5 persons.

Casalindos cottage is situated in a peaceful area close to Stavri square or Entrance B of Lindos. Few minutes walking in the narrow streets of the village with the whitewashed limestone houses, will lead you at the residences.Restaurants, cafe, super markets are only 300 metres away.St Paul's bay is also in a walking distance of 5 minutes.
