The Suffolk Hut is a rustic shepherds hut located in a quiet field on a working farm situated 30 metres away from its sister hut, The Herdwick Hut. Both huts sit in their own fenced off garden. The sheep themed Suffolk Hut has been built on the farm and has eco friendly sheeps wool as insulation to provide a warm and cosy stay whatever time of the year. Each hut sleeps up to 4 people on double bunk beds. The hut has its own self contained bathroom with a modern shower unit, toilet and sink. You will also find a well equipped kitchen. Firewood, sticks and firelighters are provided to enable use of the wood burning stove. In the garden area there is a campfire set up with log seats….perfect for toasting marshmallows.

Andrew has built the shepherds huts with a carpenter friend and farms the fields surrounding the hut. Katie looks after the sheep seen in the fields around the hut.

Located on a Cheshire farm the huts are 15 minutes walk, 2 minutes drive from the village of Lower Peover which has a handy shop and two pubs serving excellent food and beers. The Suffolk hut is also 10 minutes from the buzzy little town of Knutsford where Tatton Park can be found and heaps of gorgeous bars and restaurants and independent shops. An easy dog walk nearby is shakerley mere, an all weather path in a 1 mile loop. Other attractions are Jodrell Bank, Chester, Delamere Forest.
