This beautiful Victorian property built in the early 1900s offers a spacious 1 bedroomed self contained apartment on the ground floor with its own access as the side - hence the name -The Snicket. 
The property is in a quiet conservation area in a street 200 yards from the town centre, close to all the amenities listed below. It features high ceilings, larger than average rooms.  It has it's own entrance situated at the side of the property with a terrace and parking space. From the entrance you enter a lovely lounge. Here you will find a comfortable 3 seater sofa and chair and a dining area with 4 chairs. There is a 43inch Smart HD TV for your use and of course free wifi. There is a large kitchen area where you will find a welcome pack to include Tea, coffee, milk and sugars.  The kitchen is very well equipped with pots, pans utensils and of course a microwave, fridge freezer, kettle Toaster, oven, extractor fan and washing machine. From the Lounge there you can enter the lovely spacious bedroom with a comfortable king sized bed with duvet and 4 pillows. The room has lovely bedside tables with lighting and a convenient wall switch for the main bedroom lights.   The room also has a dressing/work desk (added since the photos), wardrobes, hanging rail, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. From the bedroom you have a ensuite bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, fluffy towels and shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap for your use.
I think we can safely say we have tried to make the Snicket as homely as possible so you can enjoy your stay.
I am very excited to offer this beautiful Victorian apartment for rental.  I was born in Basingstoke and went to school just round the corner so I certainly know this town. I have enjoyed furnishing my own homes and have loved furnishing this property as well for others to enjoy.  I have worked in retail, customer care and I also do some domestic cleaning for some elderly people which is very rewarding.

This road has both residential and commercial properties and is a quiet location in a conservation area. There are foot paths and street lighting on both sides of the road and only permit holders parking in the street ( hence we have a private car park with access from Goat Lane).
The town centre and loads of restaurants are within a 300 yard walk. 
There are some lovely parks in walking distance including Eastrop Park.
The property is located near the Basingstoke Bus station -0.4 miles
The Train station with direct links to London Waterloo - 0.6 miles
Taxi ranks at the bus station and train station so this property is in a very convenient location.
