The Beeches is owned by a friend that has lived and brought up her family in the Peak District her whole life. She is a passionate about The Beeches, having once lived here herself with her young family. The Beeches has now been lovingly renovated at the end of 2022. The Beeches is managed by myself and our dedicated small friendly team at Brosterfield Farm. We have our own self catering holiday homes for over 12 years, so have come to know what guest's expectations are for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, in order to experience what the Peak District has to offer.

The Beeches - Chatsworth Apartment No 5 - Sleeps 4 NO PETS Children 14 years and above. It is a top floored flat with hard wood floors and to limit noise downstairs cannot have small children running around. This stunning and charming, characterful apartment sits in a pretty area with a selection of pubs and restaurants close by. Walk directly to Chatsworth House or spend a day in Bakewell. Located in a quiet backwater of the beautiful Peak District village of Baslow, on the fringes of Chatsworth County House & Gardens. Perfect for exploring the area on cycle or foot. The Beeches Apartment 5 has original features, beautiful sash windows, hardwood floors and views over the garden. Outside is a beautiful Victorian shared garden with seating and one parking space. All our apartments at The Beeches are well equipped with everything you need for your stay, in the kitchen area we provide kettle, toaster, gas hob with electric oven, refrigerator, washing machine |(located in hall entrance) full set of crockery and cutlery, kitchen towels and bin bags, kitchen roll, cling film, tin foil, hand soap, washing up liquid, ironing board with iron, drying rack, a breakfast/dining bar for 4 people, overlooking the kitchen. There is an open plan lounge area along with the dining area that is at a lovely breakfast bar area overlooking the kitchen area. The lounge area is a comfortable place to put your feet up after a long walk with a perfect garden view, laid out with comfy sofa and chair and a flat screen TV. The double room is provided with fresh clean crisp bed linen, large bath towels, hand towels with beautiful views over the gardens. The cosy, twin room overlooks the exterior of the building and is a lovely additional room to the apartment. The bathroom has a fabulous walk in shower to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring, walking, eating or just relaxing! Please note the roof top terrace is not available.

As a relatively large village within the heart of the Peak District National Park, Baslow benefits from convenient local amenities, including a selection of good, local pubs serving food, restaurants, one of which is Michelin starred, a post office and a cafe. As the first National Park, the Peak District offers country lovers everything, from dramatic moorland and limestone crags, to soft rolling hills and wooded valleys. Whether it be Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Castleton’s many caves or riding the cable cars at The Heights of Abraham in Matlock Bath, there is something for all ages. We are very lucky to be located within two miles to Monsal Trail where you can enjoy a long bike ride or walk. Pretty unspoilt towns and villages are within easy reach, such as the popular market town of Bakewell, famous for the Bakewell Pudding or the fascinating plague village of Eyam. The spa town of Buxton is a short drive with recently developed spa facilities and its fabulous opera house. If walking is your passion, you couldn’t be in a better place with Baslow being surrounded by magnificent countryside and excellent walking routes in all directions. There are some amazing events throughout the year in the Peak District and The Beeches are conveniently located so everything is never too far away.
