Property information

Swallow Cottage is a cosy cottage nestled in the beautiful Vale countryside. In additional to this one bedroom fully equipped cottage is our quirky little shepherd's hut - Swallow's nest which offers a twin bedroom with flat screen TV situated next to the patio adjacent to Swallow Cottage. Ideal for extra guests, a particular favourite for the kids. Swallow Cottage is lightly decorated with crisp, fluffy linen provided in the king size bed. The newly fitted bathroom has a fully fitted bath with overhead fitted round head shower rose with additional detachable shower head. The kitchen is fully equipped with full oven fridge, microwave and all other amenities to ensure your catering requirements are fulfilled. Outside is a paved patio overlooking the fields and pony yard with furniture included so ideal for alfresco dining and of course you have full use of the fairy lit Secret Garden for ball games or sunbathing.

Neighbourhood information

Swallow Cottage and Swallow's Nest at Duffryn Mawr are located down a country lane offering countryside peace and quiet. However, we are also ideally situated to go out and about visiting the sites. The quaint market town of Cowbridge with its array of shops and eateries is just a 15 minute drive or head over to the cosmopolitan city of Cardiff and Cardiff Bay. Museums and castles are in abundance around South Wales as well as other historical sites. For the active guests we have plenty of challenging or not so challenging golf courses in the area or you could pony trek on Ogmore Beach. Paint balling is available just the other side of Cowbridge or just relax and enjoy woodland walks around Pyscodlin Lake or long lazy walks along the Glamorgan Heritage Coast.
