Areas of Exceptional Natural Beauty surround Biddulph, which is tucked away in a valley that is awash with greenery. The pride of the town, which takes the moniker "The Garden Town of Staffordshire," is the display of flowers that bloom there from early spring until late October. Visitors have a wide variety of things to do, including the excellent Little Moreton Hall, which is 4 miles distant, and the National Trust-owned Biddulph Grange, whose renowned gardens were created by James Bateman and feature Egyptian temples, oriental pergolas, and Scottish glens. Due to its proximity to the Peak District National Park and two lovely local parks, this town is highly well-liked by walkers and hikers. The distance between Alton Towers and the famed Jodrell Bank Observatory, home of the Lovell Telescope, is only 22 miles. The Staffordshire Moorlands, Derbyshire, and the Pennines are all easily accessible. For a day trip, consider going to Chester, Liverpool, or Manchester, which are all nearby and can all be reached in around an hour and a half by car. Thus, whether you're looking for a base for exploration or a tranquil getaway in a Staffordshire town, this area offers it all.
