You are guaranteed to see all of Arran's native birds and migrating birds, ideal for the enthusiasts and fascinating for the novice. This is a rural location & recommend having a car to see all of Arran. Within walking distance (2 miles) to the beach and the Lagg Distillery. The cottage has plenty of space for up to 4 well behaved dogs. This holiday home is completely enclosed, with a large garden and gate, spacious parking for up to 2 vehicles. Outdoor table, chairs and cushions available. Garden also has day kennel & hot water shower for dogs. Large porch to store all your outdoor gear, or dogs / crates. Ground level open plan lounge, dinning room table, kitchen. The 2 downstairs windows facing away from the garden/drive have stripes of frosted privacy glass (you can still see out) to stop anyone in the farm area from seeing within the home. Wood burner located in lounge. DVD player and movies. As of end of June 2025 entire property has Wifi for personal devices. As of July 2025 Smart T.V. in downstairs lounge (see pic) for using apps to view favourite programs & movies such as Youtube (app viewing is subject to your own subscriptions). Due to the rural location there are no options for T.V. aerial connectivity. This is not super fast fibre to cable, yet BT copper phone broadband, therefore, speed and streaming is not always guaranteed. Bedrooms located upstairs, both un-suite. VIEWS: Sanda view is attached to a farm and sits in a dip between two hills with a beautiful perfect peekaboo "view" of Sanda island (see sunset photo), you can also see the southend Kintyre and Northern Ireland from both the 'upstairs' bedroom windows, also this same view can be seen in the upper garden and around gate areas. Entire property has views of surrounding hills, the nearest neighbouring house or farm is one mile away.

Home Owners John & Jenny live next to the holiday home on a working farm with their Labrador retrievers, chickens,1 cockerel & Hebridean sheep. There is no access into the owners private areas from the holiday home, to allow privacy for all. They have been hosting for over 7 years (on many other platforms including Bcom see reviews in photos) and provide guests with privacy to enjoy their holiday, yet are happy to assist if you need them. John has renovated this 150 year old farm house and holiday home that used to be the stables, the exterior is of beautiful stone from the surrounding hill and quarry.

Fantastic walks directly from the holiday home, easy walk to the Lagg distillery & beach. Although the home is rural, its located in the middle of the island and great access to all of Arran. There is no light pollution giving the night Skys a wonderful view of many stars in the solar system. There is no noise distractions allowing wild life birds to fly above and around the cottage. Truly a peaceful setting.
