Hi I’m Mark
After travelling the world, I decided to settle down in Suffolk twenty years ago and started my own little business with a beautiful old derelict farm complex, which I converted into six lovely little cottages at The Grove Farm for people to escape from city life and enjoy the wonderfully rural experience that this area amazingly has, despite its close proximity to London.
I love what I do and am ‘Hands On’ with welcoming guests to my own six cottages, as well as looking after my Cottage Agency 'The Grove Cottages' that soon developed as other owners
came asking me to take on their cottages and give them the same level of personal customer care, attention, and promotion that we are known and appreciated for.
I don’t want to be a huge company, I’m very happy to have a small agency where personal involvement is always the priority and where I can pick only places which I love and know inside out to join us.
I am always available to answer any questions and above all else I want you to be in a cottage that suits you, so you will become our ambassador.
Please do ask me a question about this cottage and I will give you a very honest answer.
Best Wishes
Mark - The Grove Cottages

Tudnivalók a környékről
The Old Grove Farm, is set in open countryside and surrounded by Gardens and a one acre dog exercise Orchard, it is made up of ancient brick buildings, which were a farm workers cottage, winnowing barns, dairies and bakeries. It has a large central courtyard with a long open barn with bicycles, BBQ’s, tables and benches, it is lit at night by fairy lights and creates a double quadrangle, the buildings are now converted into 6 much loved holiday cottages with individual entrances from different areas affording guests a high degree of privacy. It is where our little business started and where we are based. While being very rural, civilisation is just a 10-minute car drive away and will get you to shops, swimming pools, etc. Your cottage is a very special place that is loved by guests and perfect for a romantic escape to the lovely Suffolk countryside. Kersey, a delightful Medieval village, is a 10 minute bike amble down the lane from us, and has an excellent Pub by the ford for thirsty cyclists. Lavenham ‘England’s best preserved Medieval Village’ is just 4 miles away. This is a place where you can feel a million miles away from City life, really relax and enjoy just being part of.
