Recently renovated in 2023; the cottage is beautifully decorated with sumptuous furniture. Originally built as a small kindergarten school in 1952 we have completely renovated the building to create a very comfortable holiday cottage. The cottage is set within our 2 acre garden; surrounded by trees. You will feel a million miles from anywhere whilst falling to sleep listening to the owls. The bank to the right of the cottage is in fact the remains of an ancient Iron Age Fort and is classified as an Ancient Monument. Come and see for yourselves how gorgeous Robin Hill is. To find us once you are in Amesbury town centre, travelling along a one way road with the Post Office on your left and The Bell and Reeves Bakery on your Right, take the left hand fork heading out of town past the church and over the river. The road bends to the right with properties on the left hand side. Robin Hill is no 12, with 2 drives and you can park anywhere at the front of the house.
I have lived with my family on Stonehenge Road for 15 years. It's a great place to be, just a 6 minute walk down the road into town, to the river or the recreation park. Or head up the road 2 miles and you'll reach Stonehenge. I look forward to welcoming our holiday guests.
Stonehenge is 2 miles away. One of the reasons we like it so much here is the fact that we're rural with Salisbury Plain on our doorstep yet we can get to the 'bright lights' of Salisbury within 15 minutes. Within an 8 mile radius of Robin Hill Cottage guests can access cinema, golf course, golf driving range, leisure centre with swimming pool, tennis courts as well as mind blowing cultural sights. Such as Salisbury Cathedral with the tallest spire in UK and one of the original copies of Magna Carta, Old Sarum, Stonehenge, Woodhenge, Roche Court Sculpture and Art Centre (free) and more.
